Elegant, small, late 18th-century Swedish Gustavian commode with classic neoclassical detailing and old cream paint. Features two deep drawers with original brass ormolu escutcheons and ring pulls, framed by carved rosettes and fluted pilasters. Light pale green/grey/blue polychrome, having beautiful age and patina. A refined form typical of the Gustavian period.
