Portuguese Commode, walnut, 18th Century, serpentine top over conforming front having two small drawers of two wide drawers over a and finely carved lower apron on cabriole legs, both front and rear having carved knees over semi-scrolling acanthus carved feet. Both molded sides have additional richly carved detail. Fine, fire-gilt brasses.
