French 18th C. Directoire Mahogany Dining Table, mahogany top extension dining table, with brass bull nose trim, fluted inset brass accents at leg joints, tapered square legs. Overall 29.5" h. x 63" x 50.5". With five leaves, three 22.5", two 15.5” wide, and two leaf supports, one bears a Christie's label. All on castors. Leaves of varying color. Provenance: From the estate of European collector Purchased Christie's, lot 372, May 17, 2006, "The Collection of Evelyn Anneberg Hall" where it realized $26,400. Previously Duveen Brothers, New York, 1960. Leaves slightly vary in tone. Can be stained to be uniform if needed.
