Murano Mirror rimmed with hand-blown flowers , c. 1950

A striking oval wall mirror framed in individually hand-blown Murano glass flowers, each with fine ribbed detail and subtle gold flecks typical of mid-20th century Venetian artistry. Likely made on the island of Murano in the 1950s, these mirrors were often produced by renowned glasshouses such as Barovier & Toso  and Seguso. The delicate floral border and softly aged plate lend both glamour and patina. 50” h. x 40” w.
