English Chippendale Mahogany Tilt-Top Table, 18th Century.  A finely carved George III period tilt-top table in rich mahogany, circa 1760. The scalloped piecrust edge tops a turned and fluted pedestal with acanthus-carved legs ending in bold claw-and-ball feet. Elegant yet robust, this English Chippendale example embodies the balance and craftsmanship of the mid-18th century.
