A fine English delft charger featuring a chinoiserie garden scene with long-tailed bird, butterflies, and bees amid peonies and a fence, painted in deep cobalt blue on a tin-glazed ground. The wide border alternates latticework with stylized blossoms in reserve. Likely London or Bristol, circa 1740. Rim chips consistent with period examples. 12.25” diam. x 1.5” h.
