This rare screen, now separated into two panels for separate (or placed together) hanging, was acquired in France and though the giltwood carved frame does look French, the exquisite needlework, in gold, pale blue, and champagne thread on red silk, appears to be Italian. The screen is formed of two panels, which could easily be separated at the hinges to be hung separately, or of course could be hung together on a wall, or of course left standing.
Height | 56 3/4 |
Width (each screen) | 22 1/4 |
